Spongebob Battle For Bikini Bottom (by : Darien)

Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom's story is about Plankton making a duplicatortron 3000. This machine makes tons of robots, that will help him steal the Krabby Patty formula. This plan should have worked out fine if Plankton had switched the obey switch, on the robots, on. The robots end up running wild and taking over the Chum Bucket. Miles away while the robots are running ramped, Spongebob and Patrick make a wish that they had real robots to play with. The wish was made on the Magic Conch shell, so of course it comes true. This wish sets all of the robots lose in Bikini Bottom.
This game is a collection platform where you collect golden spatulas to help you advance in the game. The levels are great and just some of the places you can collect the spatulas from. Paying Mr. Krabs money, or shiny things, and collecting Patricks lost socks   are two ways to earn the spatulas. The rest can be earned by playing through the levels. The levels are fun, goofy, and a little challenging at times.
There are three playable characters, Spongebob who has bubble moves, like bowling ball and torpedo. Patrick can pick up large items and throw them, and he can stun enemies with his ground pound. Sandy can glide in the air and lasso things.
This game is my current favorite. I find this game both challenging and fun. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes platform games and Spongebob. This game can be found on the Gamecube.

Destiny (by : Zachary)

Destiny is my favorite first person shooter. There are so many things to do, like story line, battle other players around the world, and side missions. I really like the game, and if you played, I think you would like it too.
The story is very simple. There are some bag guys that are looking for a ghost. The ghost ends up finding you, the player. The ghost tells you about the bad guys and that there trying to get you now. You are now the hero of the story and your goal is to destroy the darkness.
There are three ways to play. Story mode, where you play through the story, and go mission by mission, revealing more about the game as you go. Mission levels let you pick any mission you've already unlocked. This allows you to do missions over and over again. Battle is the last one, this allows you to battle other players from all over the world. You get to do team death matches and capture the flag.
My favorite part of the game is story mode. I really enjoyed playing through there game and hearing more of the story and how it all fits together. My least favorite part of the game is the battle mode. I'm not very good at it. The game can be found on the PS 3, PS 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

Legend Of Zelda Wind Waker (by : Nathaniel)

Wind Waker is part of the Zelda franchise. In this game you sail on the sea with a sail boat. The land of Hyrule flooded many years ago, and everyone lives on tiny islands.
Your sister is taken at the beginning of the game, so you join a pirate crew to go and save her. After saving her you go off on your own to save Hyrule.
The game play is similar to other Zelda games. There are items to collect, puzzles to solve, and bosses to face. In this game sailing is a big part of it. You get your own boat and a musical device called the wind waker. The wind waker lets you control the wind, and this helps you to sail in the right direction.
The items in this game are great, most of them are items that are found in most Zelda games, but there are a few that are different. The wind waker not only lets you control the wind, but other items around you, and I really liked that. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes Zelda games and to anyone who likes adventure games. This game can be found for the Gamecube and the Wii U.

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire (by : Darien)

The Story behind both of these games (and in fact many of the Pokemon games) is you just moved to a new home and you are choosing your first pokemon. Like always there's a professor and he has three pokemon for you to choose. A fire type, which is Torchic, a water type, Mudkip, and a grass type, Trecko. He also gives you the task of catching all of the pokemon to fill up your pokedex.
While you explore you'll find gyms. They can be found in almost every town you come across. Betting the leaders inside will earn you a badge. If you are able to get all eight badges you'll be on your way to the Pokemon League, where the strongest trainers are. On your way to your fist gym, you'll meet team Magma or team Aqua (depending on your version on the game). Team Magma is trying to make all of the world land, and team Aqua is trying to make all of the world sea. Of course it is your job to stop them.
The game play mechanics of Pokemon is simple and similar to the turn based RPG's. Your pokemon can do up to four moves and you can have up to six pokemon with you. You are able to catch wild pokemon that you come across, as long as you damage them enough without killing them, and as long as you have an extra pokemon ball.
Your pokemon have the ability to level up and evolve. After doing each battle you will be awarded with experience points. These points will very on how challenging the battle was for you and your pokemon. Leveling and evolving will sometimes grant you different moves, these will make your pokemon more powerful.
There are plenty of towns that you will come across during your play time. Most will have a gym, Pokemon Center, and Pokemart. The Pokemon Center is where you can take you pokemon to get healed for free, and they also have the PCS where you can see all of you captured pokemon. The Pokemart has items you can buy such as, potions and pokeballs.
One of the things I liked most about this game was the online trading. You can trade pokemon with people from all over the world in a very safe and easy way. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes RPGs, Pokemon, and adventure games. This game can be played on a 3DS.

Super Mario Sunshine (by : Nathaniel)

Super Mario Sunshine is a game where you shoot at paint with a water gun. Mario is in trouble for paint spots all over the island. Mario didn't paint the spots, but everyone thinks he did, which is why he has to clean them.
Like Mario 64 this game has levels where you collect coins and stars. In this game the stars are called shine spites. Yoshi can be found in this game and like always he is very helpful. The water gun can get upgrades throughout the game and that is helpful as well.
My favorite thing in the game are the upgrades to the water gun, riding Yoshi, and the levels. I found the bosses to be hard, so that was my least favorite part. All in all it's an awesome game, and one of my favorites. This game can be found for the Nintendo Gamecube.

Minecraft (by : Zachary)

Minecraft is my current favorite game. It's a great game because you can do whatever you want in it like, building, crafting, mining, and exploring.
Minecraft is a block based sand box game that is capable of multiplayer or solo play. The game can be played in Creative mode or Survival. Creative mode is where it seems the most like a sand box game, because you have an unlimited supply of all of the blocks and building materials you could ever want. You have no danger of dying and you can fly. Survival mode is more like a normal video game. You are still free to craft and build whatever you want, but you have to go and get the materials, this along with surviving against enemies and dealing with hunger. The mine goal of survival is to defeat the Ender Dragon.
One of my favorite things in Minecraft is red stone. Red stone is an ore that can be found by mining. you can do so must with red stone, build machines and contraptions. It's amazing what some people come up with using red stone, and to find out what you can build with it, all you have to do is search online.
My favorite part about the game is the servers. It's great to play with others online, and try out all of the fun server games. Minecraft is a game that I would recommend to everyone, because I feel like anyone could have fun playing it no mater what their gaming personality is.
Minecraft can be downloaded on your pc, and cost around $25. The game can also be found for the X-box 1, X-box 360, Playstation 3, and Playstation 4.

Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (by : Darien)

The story of Sonic The Hedgehog 2 is very simple. Dr Eggman captures Sonic's friends and turns them into robots to build the Death Egg and take over the world. It is your job as Sonic to free your friends and stop the Death Egg from ever being built.
Each stage is split into two acts. In act one you have to get to the end of the stage and touch the sign post. In act two you get to the end and fight a boss. The boss can be pretty easy if you know the pattern the bosses like to take.
There are three playable characters, Sonic, Tails and Knuckles. Each character can jump and do the spin dash. Tails can fly in the android app download version on the game.
In every act if you earn fifty rings you can jump into a circle of rings at the check point. You are then teleported to a bonus stage where you have to collect rings in a 3D environment, where if you collect enough rings you get a chaos emerald. Having fifty rings can also grant you the ability to become invincible and run super fast if you are playing as Sonic or Knuckles.
This game is one of my favorites. I love to play it and I would highly recommend it to anyone. This game can be found for the Sega Genesis, and it is also a download app for most devices like phones, and kindles.
